The first collection of the contemporary clothing line has finally hit retail stores- or Saks at least. Cinq à Sept (the name means 5-7 in French, intending to evoke the mysterious twilight hour represented through their transitional day to night ensembles) debuted its Pre-Fall collection last week exclusively through the month at Saks and saksfithavenue.com. Come July, over 200 retail stores will have the beautiful clothes in stock. The team, led by CEO (and awesome woman) Jane Siskin, joined forces with the women behind the Art Production Fund at Saks flagship store to celebrate the launch.
The fête, complete with rocking DJ, rosé, and to die for fries, was swarmed with fashion notables- a well earned success for the budding brand. Fellow model Rebecca Shugart and I donned key looks from Pre-Fall, including my favorite stunning black gown equipped with the brand’s signature ring detail. A generous nod of approval from the likes of Vogue and celebrity fans such as Jessica Chastain and Karolina Kurkova has made Cinq à Sept the new go-to brand for the feminine yet undoubtedly cool. Gorgeous stretch lace tops pair beautifully with wide leg trousers, a juxtaposition that makes sense only in reality, not description. Sliding on an army style jacket with unique Cinq à Sept patches over a flirty dress is what I want to do every morning.
